I had a flash fiction piece due today and I failed to finish it. This is my second failure as far as this weekly challenge goes and I have to say that I’m a little disappointed. I love writing but my mind is all over the place. I write whatever strikes my fancy at any given moment.
The fiction challenges force me to be more focused. This second failure showed how “unfocused” I am still. That’s why I’m disappointed. Don’t worry though. I’ll get over it. I’m already feeling better now that I’m venting in this post. Plus, I just ate half a bar of milk chocolate with hazelnuts, so I’m starting to feel the sugar rush. I’ll be all happy and sweet for a few hours.
Now I’ll get back to that flash fiction. Better late than never, right?
