There is a good reason I love Chuck Wendig, and, no, it’s not just because his writing turns my mind on. It’s also because … uh, wait a second, I have to think about this. Never mind, that’s actually the reason I love him: I find his writing to be a perfect combination of wit, sarcasm, humor, and porn. That’s a major intellectual turn on.
You know the saying “kiss her mind and her body will follow?” Apparently, Chuck Wendig is a great mind kisser. I’d gladly give him my body. Did I just say that out loud? I was kidding.
Before you judge me, you should read his blog at terribleminds.com. The article he wrote on “Five Stupid Writing Tricks” is a perfect example of great writing. I’ve heard it said that writers are people of questionable mental health. I can neither confirm, nor deny those rumors. But I do think it takes a special kind of insanity to be able to both write like Chuck, and to appreciate that kind of writing.
So, if you don’t like Chuck Wendig’s writing, take comfort in the fact that you are probably in outstanding mental health.
