Because God wanted to feel,
He created man.

So if I dull my senses,
If I let fear keep me away from pain
And guilt keep me away from pleasure,
If I close my mind and heart to fully living,

Is that an act of rebellion?
A sin?
A denial of purpose?
Worse yet, is it a total waste of life?

I don’t want to find out.
I’m letting go of fear and guilt.
It’s scary.
It hurts.
It feels amazing.
It’s what it means to truly live.

When my time comes to go back,
I’ll go knowing what life feels like.
